Overview of Beijing
Beijing is the metropolis located in the northern China and the capital of China. It is governed as the municipality under the administration of the central government. Beijing is one of the great ancient capitals of China. This is a wonderful city which hosted the 2008 Olympic.
The city is surrounded by mountains on the north, west and northwest. One of the wonders of the world “The Great Wall of China” extends across the north of the Beijing. This city has two main rivers such as Chaobai River and Yongding River. The very vibrant and colorful Chinese culture is well-known all over the world. Beijing opera, generally called as Jingju, is an exhibition of the song, spoken dialogue with action sequences such as acrobatics and fighting. This city is popular for its Siheyuan architecture.
