Summer Palace Beijing

Summer Palace Beijing is the palace located in Beijing, China. This palace is mostly dominated by the Longevity Hill (i.e. about 60 meters high) and the Kunming Lake. Summer Palace Beijing extends more than 2.9 sq km and three quarters of which is the water. The Kunming Lake covers about 2.2 square kilometers. It is actually a man made (artificial lake) thing and the excavated soil was used in order to construct the Longevity Hill in this place one could find several gardens, palaces and various other traditional and classical style buildings and structures.

This is truly a wonderful place to visit. Many international and Chinese travelers visit this place throughout the years. It is consider as one of the most popular tourist destination in Beijing.
