Where is Beijing located ?
Beijing, formerly known as Peking, is the capital of the People’s Republic of China. It is a metropolis that sits in North of China; it is governed by as a municipality by the central government’s administration. Historically, Beijing is known to be as one of the “Four Great Ancient Capitals of China’s Imperial Past.”
Beijing is surrounded by the Herbei Province in the north, west and south portions and the Tianjin Municipality from the southeast side. This bustling Chinese metropolis is further subdivided into fourteen urban and sub-urban districts and two rural towns. Being the capital of one of the world’s most populous nations, Beijing is well-connected to other parts of the country by way of its railways, highways and motorways. It is also home to international airports, a common entry point for tourists.
